PS5 question.

Got it yesterday. Man, the color is a huge improvement over the Pro. Didn’t think it would be that much of a jump. And it does run so smooth, anyway...

I can’t figure out how to get SOS into the PS5. I saved the songs in a folder, but when I go to the 5 and put it in the USB port and then go to save data it doesn’t show my thumb drive.

The SOS go into a folder named MUSIC, then into a folder named PS5...correct?

If someone can give me a step-by-step I’d appreciate it.

got what yesterday? Game doesn't come out until April. I have got games early many years, but your saying you got the Show 21 for the PS5 right now...These definitely calls for a pic receipt.

I believe he's saying he got the PS5 yesterday and is trying to upload audio files to use in SOTS on the PS5.

I actually landed a copy of The Show 22 also.


I can’t find any help on the internet. Guess no one has taken their SOS they used on the PS4 and tried loading them into the PS5.

Mine went automatically because I transfered everything via an ethernet cable from ps4 to ps5. Can you still do that. Just hook it up and follow the prompts.

No, I cleaned up my Pro and gave it to my son. I had the batter walkups, etc. in a MUSIC file on my PC. First I tried just placing that file on a USB, but it wouldn’t recognize my usb. Then tried putting the music file in a PS5 folder still wouldn’t recognize my usb. Has to be something I’m just missing. Using the same method i was able to transfer my roster and franchise files.

TADA! I was over thinking. Just put the USB in the port, go to The Show on the PS5, SOUNDS OF THE SHOW, MANAGE MUSIC FILES, click on IMPORT FILES and it will down load the songs.

Geez and DUH!. So, 231 batter walkups, in between innings music, etc. installed.

But again, the PS5 is amazing. Show feels brand spanking new. Thanks for your tolerance, lol. (I did cop a copy of the Show 22 though)>

the ps5 hates external drives though be careful with them and for the love of god don't unplug it when in rest mode. it will corrupt the drive and your games will crash because of that.. I had to completely format a 4tb drive because of and have to install all my ps4 games again.

so not only does it corrupt your drive it makes the PS5 go nuts and crash. since I formatted it and fixed the problem it never crashed again, also had issues when rest mode automatically turns to shutdown mode randomly and you gotta pull the power cable out and in again then hit on twice for it to switch back on giving me a heart attack, so be very careful with pulling out USB drives the PS5 thinks it's the 90s where you gotta go to safely remove it in the settings.

I hardly see any notable difference between PS4 and PS5 version of the Show 20 as far as graphics are concerned.

It's an improvement in the sense that the game's 4K mode is now playable (not to mention butter smooth), when it was very noticeably choppy and, to me, unplayable on the PS4 Pro. Even the lesser graphic modes had frame drops in certain situations, especially on player closeups and wide-angle stadium shots where the crowd and playing field were present.

None of that is an issue on the PS5.
