I guess I am easy to please.

17-20 are gorgeous games on my Pro.

I do not have a 5 and probably won’t at minimum till this holiday season. And my plan would be to play 17-20 on the 5 and get that true 4K and 60 FPS and be blown away.

Then again I came from the Atari 2600 era lol.

That's a lot worse than I expected. Tatis' hair is clipping through his jersey and his necklace is clipping through his skin. The walls in the outfield on the stadium creator parks look really bad.

They had a lot on them bringing the game to xbox and next gen this year and dealing with remote working so it's understandable that it doesn't look great, but I expected much more of a graphical leap that this. Maybe in 22 we'll get that.

On the one hand, I'm pumped they're adding the Stadium Creator. That's awesome! Hope there's all kinds of options to add signage and detail.

On the other, this is a pretty lackluster trailer. PS5/XSX users are going to wait a couple years to see the horsepower of the consoles get applied.

Hmm, I mean...the game looks really good on PS4, so I'm not sure how much better they can get on PS5. Still looks good. Tatis's hair texture could be better, but The Show has never done hair very well.

This is year one on PS5 remember, not to mention the disruption of COVID. I think within a few years we'll have a lot of things we didn't have on PS4.

Not blown away. Reminds me of the Madden NFL transition rather than the NBA 2K one.

I am also pretty easy to please. My very first console was the Intellivision. For me, The Show has always been a beautiful game and at this point I'm more concerned with how the game plays on the field more than how it looks.

Yes, I’m playing on the PRO on a QLED 65” Samsung and I did ask myself how much better can this game look. Do I need to get the PS5? Well, I did and same thing....how much better can this game look? As far as I’m concerned SDS does a lousy job with their pre-release media (at least for a bunch of “perfectionist” like us). We knit pick everything, which is fine, but I have no doubt when the game is released it will be an improvement on the PS5.

The best word to describe it would be....underwhelming. same lame body types, hair looks awful and the uniforms are meh. Hopefully it'll get better the longer it's out

I'm still looking forward to the game, despite this looking like a PS4 port...visually...
(I'm sure there will be some side-by-sides later on, but it looks more like what EA did with Madden)

I've owned almost every installment, so when I heard "NEXT GEN" I guess I have a different opinion as to what the visuals could look like...take 2K...they truly went next-gen and that is the leap I was hoping for as they've had the next gen hardware for well over a full cycle...

I am enjoying '20 on my PS5 right now as it runs buttery-smooth, but from these screenshots it doesn't look much different, so I am just a bit disappointed - hoping the next-gen deep-dive later this month will boost me a bit... I'm just a graphics-whore I guess..

Yep I see no difference at all!!!!!!!!

The fact that we need a magnifyine glass to see a difference between the PS4 and PS5 version is pretty sad.

I was thinking of getting another tv and possibly getting a Samsung QLED. How do you like it? My gaming tv is a 65" Sony X850 4K and it's beautiful. Was possibly thinking of moving that to the living room and getting an LG CX for gaming. The Show 20 really does look amazing on my Sony.

Tommy! What’s up my man? I totally agree with this. I was expecting nba 2k21 leap in graphics too. But that was very high expectations by me. I’m still very excited about The Show 21 on ps5 though.

Thats why I find it so funny that many on here say that you have to wait 2-3 years to see them fully commit to next gen, or that is when we will see a substantial difference in visuals.

Why? The last two cycles 2k did not have to wait years to get us a next gen product. They did it year 1.

I get tired of hearing that retort from people. I bought a PS5 to have a true next gen look and feel. Not 3 years from now when they decide its time. Thats just dumb.
