Having a hard time deciding if I want to sit this one out...

The release three weeks into the season is annoying since immersion to me is starting a franchise with day one rosters on or slightly before opening day...

I don't necessarily understand the entire thing with imported rosters, but from what I gather, this means we'd have to wait a lot longer for people to put out their usual rosters w/ all the accurate MiLB players?

I don't have a PS5, so stadium creator is a waste & MLB 20 is already breath taking, so it's not like 21 can be that much better.

I just decided not to buy The Show 21 until the PS5 becomes available. I tried buying a PS5 twice over the past few days and it sells out the moment new inventory is released. Craziness! As far as I'm concerned, it's not available until everybody who wants to buy one can get one without sitting there maniacally clicking refresh in hopes of getting it into your cart like some sort of depraved addict. So if that's not until late in the year, I'll probably just wait for The Show 22.

I mean, I'm a 35 year-old man, I do not need to be jumping through hoops to buy a silly video game system. I'll just go into year 2 of my '20 franchise instead.

EXACTLY what I am thinking...I've tried getting one since they first came out.

I REFUSE to pay twice or 3 times the cost just to get one. Then ALL the BOTS grab em and the "little man" who just wants ONE can't get his.

With the Y2Y being gone and possibly the import/export rosters I most likely WON'T be getting the 21 anytime soon OR a PS5 til I can go to the store and grab one off the shelf. If that means another year waiting so be it. I'm very happy with my PS4 Pro for now.

Then two seasons ago the team made it to the World Series (losing to the Astros in 5 games meaning my pitcher only appeared in one game that series).

Ok. i'm SURE I'm not the only thinking this but when you lost to the Astros was that the year they CHEATED??!!
