    MLB The Show 21 side-by-side PS4 and PS5 version comparisons?

    Has anyone done side-by-side screenshot comparisons with MLB The Show 21 PS4 and PS5 version yet?

    I would love to see the difference.

      I don’t think you’re going to get anything accurate until later in the cycle. Still over a month away and nothing has really been released.

          The beta graphics in that trailer are not final and nothing in that trailer yesterday implied that they were.

              This was posted in the MLBTheShow subreddit yesterday. While not perfect I think it does show how similar the two versions are at the moment.

                  Interesting. I wonder how closely they would compare if '20 showed the same depth-of-field effect behind Tatis.

                  I think I see some extra self-shadowing on the next gen ones - not sure how much of that is present on the PS4.

                  I also note that the '20 screens are being taken off of the PS5 in backwards compatibility, not the PS4 or Pro.

                      Stills mean nothing. When the action starts is where next gen will shine.

                          The increase in shadow detail is very noticeable.
