I'm sure you guys already have tried this... But have you tried FB marketplace and Craigslist? That's actually how I scored mine, found a good dude on Craiglist, worked out a deal and I got mine for $600.

Wow this looks awesome and a lot better then I was expecting for year 1. Now if only they’d confirm in the franchise stream that Y2Y saves is coming back next year we’d really have something going here.

Yup...it is a joke of a lauch. There will be plenty by this summer and Christmas.

The scalpers will get stuck with heavy inventory at some point and dump at retail.

I think the whole thing smells. Never seen this type of launch and I realize supply chains are strained......but I see no issues with people getting I-Phones, TV’s, a host of stuff.

This is a scam. And a big one. Shame on Sony and Microsoft for the piss poor execution and the retailers who are not controlling the bots at all.

Just a joke. And I will not pay over retail for a console with nothing in terms of games....at 69.99 a pop. yeah....we can wait a long while....and we will. No rush.

It just stinks for the regular joe consumer. And the funny thing is I can easily drop $800-1200 for a PS5....money is not the issue.

My principals though will not allow it as well as my common sense. If people want to support the scalper markets.....all the power to you. It’s your money.

I am just a little smarter and wiser about it. Been buying consoles since like forever lol. Can you believe that An Atari 2600 back in the 1980 went for 300-400 bucks? WOW!!!!! I am being serious too. It was crazy. My dad said wait...just be patient.

We ended up getting an Atari in 1981 for $199 with all the controllers and 10 games (Asteroids, INDY 500, Combat, Superman, Adventure, Football, Homerun, Pac-Man, Warlords, Missile Command). Man.....I still remember my dad coming home with it. I was jumping for freaking joy.

Yeah, the money is no issue for me. I’d drop $2,000 of it wasn’t for my principles. I really do hope the scalpers get stuck with inventory and have to dump for a loss

To continue my trend of being the one to cast doom and gloom and be negative about everything The Show. (Paraphrasing from my DM's)

I wonder how many stadiums we could create. If you take the video literally, they never talk about the stadium creator in a plurality. It's only use A stadium, Create A stadium, share you Stadium. I am by no means saying this is the case. The feature looks really cool. BUT I am not completely sold yet.

Still not picking up a next gen console anytime soon anyway so my opinion is moot. But I like getting all of the hate mail.

LOL everything in that video hinted at only a single stadium. Sure it would be shareable if it was only one. In fact it would make it easier. How much disk space do you think that a stadium takes up? I have no idea. I am just asking not being confrontational. They said for years that they could not add extra uniforms because they take too much space.

This Looks very very promising! Just some initial thoughts and hopes.


1. Will we be able to swap out the generic minor league/spring training stadiums in franchise mode for the ones that are created in the future vault?


2. Can we edit current MLB stadiums and make it so they have the right advertisements, at least for the ones on the outfield wall and behind the plate (this would be huge!!!)


I am already looking forward to the future forum that will show where each past MLB stadium is located in the vault

They could just as easily lock the assets behind stubs. They never said that all the assets are available from the get go.

This is really amazing for everyone that has been clamoring for it over the years. And they really went all in on it too. A couple questions that I have though that I cant wait to be answered.

1) Will you be able to add in custom stadiums to your franchise, or will they have to replace current stadiums? Id love to be able to create FoD, London, or Mexico stadiums and have teams plays a regular season game there.

2) If they replace current stadiums, can you create them whenever you want? And can you revert back to the current stadiums if you want?

If the feature is how rebranding currently works, I might dabble in it to replace the Trop and O.Co but thats about it.

RTTS is another mode this better be available in. With the ability to finally choose your stadium of course. Anything less is them dropping the ball big time.

Exhibition mode/RTTS can’t be left out.

This is what worries me. If they don’t have it available offline in Exhibition mode or in RTTS then this whole thing is a huge waste and a bad look for Sony.
