    The art of bunting

This is what works for me. I wait till the ball is about 1/4 to the plate and simply tap the bunt button your bat will go out and start to return as it returns it gently meets the ball. Realistic drag bunt if done right. The sacrifice bunt needs to have a slider adjustment.
You need to experiment and then practice

I go to QUICK MANAGE in bunt situations. Cuts down on the frustration.

Bunting needs to be fixed, plain and simple.

when they say bunting is a lost art, I didn't realise that meant even video game developers couldn't do it properly

This is all because of DD. There was so much bunt cheese they couldn't find a better way to combat it, so they made bunts rockets.

Would love to see a bunt power slider. One that is adjustable in franchise mode but greyed out and/or maxed when playing DD or any other online competitive mode.

We're long past the point where sports games need to have noticeably different gameplay styles for online and offline.

Solid idea, I hadn't thought of that.

I dunno how much it helps, if at all, but when I bunt (which is not often, outside of pitcher bunts) whenever I do bunt I set the Global Power Slider to zero

It bothers me more that the cpu can't bunt either.

I never seem to have many issues with bunting, but I don't do it a lot.

I have my contact slider way down.

Again, this is why I don’t understand why people say The Show has great and realistic gameplay.

'09 had better bunting lmao. Sports gaming is really mostly dead

Further testing required, but after a few attempts, It didn't work (still rockets for bunts). I tried with the power slider at 0, then just contact slider at zero, and both sliders at 0, rocket bunts every time. I will experiment more but feel like quick manage is the best option (for me anyway) on getting bunts to work.

there's a thousand things going on in the Show, there's bound to be some things that aren't quite right. I'd still take the Show's warts over any other previous baseball video game. I guess this is Sony's way of telling people bunting is dead IRL, and this is their way of replicating that lol
