    New Idea for Franchise

So I am in my 7th season with the yankees. Been playing the same franchise since 2017. I’ve built a great farm and have a team that I love from top to bottom. What if I was able to take my entire team into MLB 21 franchise and replace the current yankees? What if at the start of franchise mode im able to select to replace a team kinda like how nba 2k has it setup except that instead of classic teams. We are also able to select teams that we’ve built in the past? Not just y2y save or importing players.

This will keep everything around us fresh and we can continue to build our team without having to start over every year.

Yes y2y save is going to be a big blow if its not in mlb 21. But if we had this feature I think most of us wont mind having to import an entire team to keep going with what we have been building up for years

    What do you guys think?

How would that work for duplicate players though? I mean, if you're importing just your team and that's it, there's bound to be a roster issue. Let's say you have Mike Trout as your CF, if you just import your team then there's going to be two Mike Trout's. One on your team, and one on the Angels. Or am I misunderstanding what you're saying?

Yes. Correct. In that case it would be nice to be able to edit one of the trouts to maybe a generic player or something like that

This brings us back to the age-old question: How successful would a team of 26 Mike Trout's be, considering that your rotation, bullpen and lineup would all be made up of Mike Trout's?

The only reason I don't use yty saves is because I like having updated rosters and prospects. I'd prefer a system where we can import individual players, and the system would recognize duplicates and get rid of any.

depends if it's a team full of Trout on the Angels. that's the most wasted Trout since I accidentally sank my father-in-law's boat at the end of a fishing trip

the obvious best answer to a team full of one Angels player is Shohei
however I'd love to see that team full of Bartolo's vs a team full of Trout

I mean obviously you dont want to do this. I mean heck if you do go right ahead.
I spend alot of time undoing trades and signings on my franchise mode. I’ll deal with editing one or two duplicates out instead of wasting hours editing every single team each offseason
