Create a ball park is fully shareable. That is great to see. I am sure the community creations will be impressive. And the ballparks can be used in both franchise and DD.

It feels like using a created stadium in exhibition/practice modes would be a given, so maybe that's why they haven't said that specifically. I mean how else would you work out stuff during the build?

So disappointed that create a stadium is only next gen. I don't buy that they couldn't do it on ps4 when other games including a baseball game did it on ps2.
I've bought this game every year since it came out on ps4. But will not buy it this year. No reason to, and that is very sad.

The MVP 2005 stadium creator on ps2 was nothing compared to what this one can do. Not to mention the ps4 can barely keep a smooth frame rate in normal MLB parks, I can't imagine trying to play in some super detailed custom monstrosity.

Yeah, the create-a-ballpark in MVP 05, while a neat baby step forward, was supremely limited. Nothing like the incredible wealth of options and flexibility this looks like it will have.

The MVP 2005 stadium creator on ps2 was nothing compared to what this one can do.

No kidding. I doubt that anyone who compares them have watched the newer coverage that came out today. It wouldn’t surprise me if the SSDs the new consoles have are needed to be able to get the stadium creator to work without it taking forever to load.

I think even for the fact that they've worked on it for 5 years is something else. They probably had the PS5 hardware a max of 2 or 3 years ago at the earliest. So for at least 2 years they were working on it trying to get it working on the PS4. I figure the lighting system as they have it, is baked into each stadium. Moving stuff around with the lighting system might have been a bit too much for the PS4 and PS4 Pro to handle without becoming a stuttering mess.

I personally had thought we'd get the MVP 05 treatment to start since it was such a big undertaking so I figured we'd get a few pre-laid out stadium designs at best. I'm so glad I was wrong and we get such an amazing tool right out of the gate!
