I remember years back in one of the streams that they do every year, they talked about this. I wanna say it was around the show 16 or 17, and it had been the time they were showing us developer mode to showcase the ball flying mechanics etc.

But it was a live twitch stream that many kept asking about create a stadium. I remember Ramone saying that it was something they always wanted to implement but couldn't that year. That they are constantly working to get many of the requests into the game. That there were a lot of things they really wanted to put in but couldn't due to time restraints etc.

So yeah.... they finally got it in. They weren't swinging for the fences on this game, they were swinging for the parking lot. Can't wait.

Yes indeed they’re listening and Ramone keeps his eyes on this site in particular as Ive seen him pop up time and time again along with his developers

Animations look great in the outfield, but again next generation with this powerful hardware must get a new powerful engine or it's going to look outdated to other sports titles.

Really small question but a pet peeve of mine: have the finally made it so sliding straight on head first is okay? In the past you pretty much had to finish the entire sliding animation before the game would consider you safe so you were better off doing a hook slide or even a feet first slide.

Supposedly there's 1000k new animations , but haven't seen to much on sliding players and can't remember when playing it, your settings for sliding on assist or auto?

I don’t think the settings matter for what I’m referring to; it’s just a glitch in the animation. If you slide straight on, you can see the runner’s hands touch the base and he’ll still be called out if he’s tagged a full second after that. For some reason the game doesn’t recognize when the runner touches the base on straight on head first slides. It’s been like this for as long as I can remember with this game and it drives me nuts lol. It makes it almost impossible for the AI to steal because they always slide headfirst (as they should), but increases the tagging window so much.
