In your franchise, whats more appealing? Winning or Fair Play?
So I am all about franchise mode in all sports games I play. Anotehr important factor to me though is having sliders and settings that make the game a challenge. To me hving a team that makes the playoffs every year and wins almost all games is not that much fun. Actually find it boring. But on the flip side I see people posting their results and they are winning all the game s20-1, 15-4, Winnings 125 games in the season.

Fair play. As long as the wins and losses come realistically and through no advantage beyond having better/worse players I'm happy. I try to keep it realistic and not take advantage of the CPU AI shortcomings. I'm currently 23-35 after going 87-75 in year one and 97-65 in year 2. A lot of people would go crazy having fallen off so hard but to me it's fun. Is it my players, bad luck, poor tactics? Do I call the season a wash and focus on next year, am I a trade away from turning it around? The strategy and the not knowing if my next move is the right move is exciting. That goes for all sports games I play. The thrill of the competition is what drives me as much as wanting to win."Listen son, you only have enough runs when you’re showering after a win."Comment

fair play. some of my most entertaining hours in franchise has been spent doing my best just to win 70 games. it's the journey, not the destination. but I ain't gonna lie, a World Series championship would be niceOSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

That is awesome that you stick with it. I am that way I want the team to win if it should but if we get into a spot I need to rebuild it can be exciting to see young players develop over time even at the cost of winning.Mets Baseball, All Day Every Day

Fair play and earning my wins.
I was quite happy to be winning 75 games in 16/17. Each win felt like an achievement and I knew which plays were missed opportunities. Then suddenly to win 90+ in TS18 felt too easy, like the game was gifting wins to me. That was nowhere near as satisfying.

a mix of both. I like winning, but I don't like blowing teams out, either. I can't help myself from doing some cool stuff from time to time, like boosting a player's rating, creating some unbelievably hot shot prospect, etc. It is a video game.
Then there's my wife, when she played her RTTS on beginner mode she broke the all time HR record when her player was like 22, lol.Comment

Fair play. If I get hot and go on a long winning streak, though realistic I feel like I’m not playing on the right settings. Then I tinker with the sliders and stink it up for a week and then adjust the sliders back. But I don’t like having unrealistic numbersComment

All about realism for me. Unrealistic streaks or results put me off the save.
I like that dynamic difficulty can be started on HoF etc. This year...will stop me wondering if I’m winning/losing because of the difficulty, or because that’s just baseball.Comment

whatever happened to ’’if you ain't cheatin´, you ain't tryin´.‘‘?
if I would have had the Show when I was 12, I would have tricked out every setting
to make sure I won about a 130 games and that I had that World Series championship.

Fair play! I like losing sometimes it makes it more fun and challenging. I have a buddy that likes to win all the time and he jacks the sliders and rosters so he can win. BORING!!!!!Comment
