I personally will be looking to do more themed ballparks rather than old classics (as a 25 year old kid I don’t have as many memories of the older ones)

I'm absolutely looking forward to new & original creations every bit as much as recreations of the classic historical stadiums.
as many different kinds of stadiums that will be out there, will give me a great reason to never skip a spring training game again

Now that we know stadium creator will allow us to use stadiums in exhibition/play now mode I wanted to share a few stadiums I plan on making.

- MCU park (Brooklyn Cyclones) - I pray we get to use the amusement park props that already in the game.

- Clover Park (Mets Spring Training home/Port St. Lucie Mets stadium.)

- NBT Bank Stadium (Syracuse Mets)

- NYSEG Stadium (Binghamton Rumble Ponies)

Sorry if this was already covered, but will we be able to replicate ads in the old stadiums? How are they handling ads to put on signs and walls? Are there only what SDS will offer as templates? Are we able to import a jpg or pic to create real ads from former ballparks? I doubt it, but figured I'd ask...

This has been one of the big remaining questions. Hopefully in the next gen stream they go more in depth with the creator and cover advertisements.

So heres my question that i dont believe ive seen answered.. I know us PS4 people cant CREATE stadiums, however, are we able to download the created ones and use them on our PS4?

Looking forward to this feature as well. Will probably be a bit before I plunge into getting a PS5, but looking forward to see everyone's creations, especially with the Classic Ballparks. Question I have is, how to get the Upper Decks right? Meaning, in looking at Tiger Stadium, will there be any sort of old style Upper decks that can get it to look what the stadium has? I know the over hang is more than likely not possible. Are we able to take styles from other stadiums and implement them in create a stadium?

Doesn't Citi Field have an overhang in right field? if so, that could be a possibility.

Being able to finally play with my Buffalo Bisons in their actual home stadium in The Show will be a dream come true.

I'm actually thinking the minor league stadiums might be a little easier to recreate and may not be a bad place for a lot of guys to start with to cut their teeth on this new creation tool, but I'm sure most people are going to jump into the deep end of the pool where all the sexy major league parks reside. but Sahlen will be one of those minor league parks that would be good to start with because it's one of those where the pertinent numbers are a little easier to acquire to recreate it.
by the way, DigitalBallparks is another good site to check out when recreating stadiums.
what I have on Sahlen:
Capacity - 16,600 (though from 1990-2004 it held slightly over 21,000)

backstop - 55'
LF & RF - 325'
CF - 404'
Left-Center - 371'
Right-Center - 367'
probably just need some fence height info

I grew up in Birmingham in the 1970's and my pop had an aunt that lived across the street from Rickwood, so we went to a ton of games there until the Barons finally move out of Birmingham. got to see Bo Jackson play at Rickwood as a Memphis Chick. lotta great memories of Rickwood. I usually stop at a Barnes & Nobles near Birmingham once a week and they have books about things local to Birmingham among them some Barons and Rickwood books. I'll look and see if any mention wall height later in the week.
man, I could ramble on & on about the Barons (but I won't lol), but one more thing, in the early Eighties Memphis, Jacksonville, Nashville, Orlando, Charlotte were all in the Barons Southern League but each one moved on to greater things as far as major pro sports towns but Birmingham seemingly remained stuck in place. not necessarily a bad or good thing, but as a kid I always wanted to see Birmingham get a major pro sports team

I'm going to spend a LOT of time in this mode. Maybe more than I actually play games. My first go at a stadium will be BB&T Park in Charlotte as that's my hometown stadium. Depending how that goes, I might try out some of the requests from this thread.

Hey there. Some of y'all might remember the work that I did on MVP 05. It probably won't surprise those that do remember that this feature has me so excited. I am currently trying to decide whether to attempt a fictional future Blue Jays stadium or to attempt a classic. I am thinking that I will go with a classic and start with Tiger Stadium. I probably won't even play games this year and will build stadiums.
