Look, SDS, we aren’t asking for the complete jersey history of the San Diego Padres (Because, let’s be honest, some of them weren’t that memorable), just the best ones.

Missing the inaugural 1969 jerseys. I’m okay with this omission, because I like almost every other one more.



Missing the ‘72-‘73 jerseys. Again, I’m okay with this, because I can see that there is waaaaay too much mustard on one person.



Missing the ‘74-‘77 jerseys. They’re a nice touch, but the upcoming ‘78-‘79 jerseys (Which are included in the game!) are, perhaps, the most beautiful ugly jersey in all of sports history.



Missing the 1978 alternate jerseys. Again, I can kinda see why, because it’s a mustard bomb.... but I feel like it’s a beautiful mustard bomb



From 1997 to 2003, the San Diego Padres played in my favorite jersey of all time... which has been painfully left out of the game year after year.



Missing the 2004 to 2011 sand and blue alternates. Another nice touch I’d like to have included in the game.



Missing the 2016-2019 navy blue alternates. But since there are two other camouflage jerseys to choose from, do I not get to complain?

New for this season, the Giants added names to the back of their standard home uniforms. The font they use for that seems noticeably thicker than the font used in-game.

1969 Reds home and away have the wrong number font. Currently it’s using standard block, but it should be like the Rays, Indians, and athletics.

I can’t believe they still don’t have Cubs blue cap w Red Bill. I really hope they can fix some of these errors. Game looks and plays so nice, but I’m always just staring at these uniform errors while I’m playing.

Yea I know, but I meant for their throwbacks. So many of the standard all blue. I miss the blue w red bill. Reminds me of Sosa/grace/sandberg

2008 was the last time the Cubs wore the red billed caps. I agree I would like to see the 1994-1996 "CUBA" Cubs road uniforms in 22 for the PS4.


Prayers 22 for the PS4 gets more throwback uniforms.


Also I didn't get 21 for obvious reasons (still love playing 20 with updated rosters) and they still don't have the Brewers new road alternate batting helmet in or corrected the 1994 Angels road caps/helmets and have the wrong shade of Red for the 70's Phillies and no names on the back plus a lack of other missing throwback uniforms.

Has SDS ever fixed throwbacks in a patch? I’m thoroughly enjoying the game and the throwbacks look very nice, but the small errors are driving me crazy. Hoping they can throw us a bone and just tweak some of these uniforms.

Interesting, the Rangers alt red cap is in the game within DD. When you hover over it in DD (under Edit uniforms section in DD) it even has it with red sleeves. Hopefully this bodes well for having it patched in for other modes.

Cubs road hat from 90-2010 is missing with the red bill. Also the Cubs stance socks are completely wrong. This is what they should look like. IMG_0227.jpg

Missing jerseys is a bummer, but understandable. Uniform errors are really frustrating. I appreciate having the throwbacks in the game, but I really wish they’d clean them up. The jerseys look so, so nice this year. The colors are accurate, but man I wish mlb would force them to correct some of these errors.

Remember when SDS always used to mention “mlb style guide” whenever we’d complain about accuracy ? I wish they’d follow style guide for their throwbacks.

I wonder if I were to make them a complete PowerPoint with reference pictures for every team, If they’d fix them ? I think it would be much easier for them if they had everything consolidated into one file...Kinda like this thread, but even easier to follow.

I had a nice reply typed out but I’m freaking out on this site because an ad refreshed my page. But anyway, they won’t update old uniforms. They just go by pictures because there was no style guide to reference in 1940 and they are not going to look up a 2000 style guide for one uniform. I got access to the style guide a few years ago and called them out on some current uniforms that were wrong or missing and then that excuse seem to disappear. I appreciate all of the input, but as far as that cubs red billed hat is concerned, that uniform is not in the real life game so technically it’s not missing. Also, that player chose to wear those particular stirrups and it’s not their stance socks. Stance socks are easily recognizable because they’re ugly with gaudy colors

Cubs road hats with red bills were from 1994-2008. Sadly SDS didn't add the early 90's (Rookie of the Year) road or the 1994-1996 "CUBA" uniforms. Hopefully 22 on PS4 will have more throwback uniforms added.


Also why since '19 have the Royals & Phillies 70's uniforms been missing names on the back? Also the 70's Phillies Home/Away is still the wrong color of red when it should be the proper MAROON.
