Scoreboard

So, at first I assumed the scoreboard graphic was just a generic one they use while testing and such... but it hasn’t changed and I am starting to be blown away that this is actually what they decided on. It’s by far the ugliest score graphic I’ve seen in a video game.

Any one shed some light?

Just watch the dev streams. I don’t know if it’s confirmed, they never mentioned it but it’s all they’ve shown

It's definitely a new scorebug and I personally like the simplicity of it. Not sure if that replaces the one they introduced last year, but I'm sure the MLB Network scorebug will still be there as well.

I think it is the replacement. I hope or wish they would just add a 3rd presentation and have it the dark one. So people can choose if they want the light or dark one.

Scorebug. Scoreboard is the physical object that displays the scores inside the stadium.

Scorebug is the UI that relays information to the viewer.

Anyways, yeah I don’t really like it that much but after playing the beta, I got used to it.

I've always dreamed of a create a broadcast package type of feature for sports games. Would be awesome for classic rosters and would freshen it up when you're in the future of a franchise.

We all know the scorebugs and wipes and everything else change year over year, so it's strange to be in 2030 and have the same exact presentation still.

I get why it is a low priority, but in a perfect world I'd love a create a broadcast package.

I really,. really liked the non-MLB Network one from the 2020 game. All of the info that I want is there, its just the right size, and I like how it will blip and change what its showing. Too bad if they're changing it.

I think you'll still get all that info right there, it's just a different color now.

I’m fine with it.
Bases loaded here so this year when there’s a baserunner it turns green.
I’m not sure why the info in the top right corner is cut off. Maybe it rotates or it was a work in progress..

It definitely rotates to show the pitch speed.
