Hi I was wondering if anyone knows if we can create a two way player OUTSIDE of RTTS so I can just create my player and insert him into any roster and play with him in franchise

Noooo he literally said he likes 20 better than 21 so I told him to keep playing 20 if that's what he likes. Glad you felt the need to chime in. And let me edit this real quick to say that he's stated in a few threads that he doesn't think 21 is better than 20. I wasn't trying to be a jerk to him, I was simply stating if he likes it better, then play the game that gives him a better experience. [emoji1303]

Nope. No can do?????? I get the same thing. Problem is I see some people are downloading the rosters.

I think that’s PS4 and Xbox people that’s able to download not sure though but can’t download rosters from the vault on PS5 at all !!!

So he got a scan but Grichuk is stuck with a old face of 3-4 years ago. He should be clean cut and clean stubble beard. Great being a Jays fan [emoji849]

Please take it easy on me if this is a dumb question but is Road to the Show (RTTS) the "career" mode of The Show? If so, is it heavily reliant on online interactivity or can it just be a fun, semi-simulation offline experience?



I guess I just want to know if I can create a character and carry out a standard career from the minors on up without any silly online requirements getting in the way.



For perspective, I'm a huge basketball fan who hasn't been able to handle NBA 2K MyPlayer for years because of the cheesy forced storylines and centralized focus on online head-to-heads to build up points.

I haven't played 21 yet but I've played every year before...yes, you can play rtts offline create your character and start your career in the minors and build your way up to the show without any online interaction if you choose.

They've said in the past that players have to make themselves available for scans. So if a player doesn't want to do it, or have the time, then there's not much they can do

So I tried it again just now. (Live roster exhibition, picked one of the games from today) and made sure it was broadcast mode and no quick counts or anything and it went straight into the first AB. Weird.

Have you tried just doing a regular exhibition and not the live roster one? Just trying to rule out the fact that maybe when doing live roster exhibitions it cuts straight to the first at bat. I haven't played a live exhibition game yet

Any time I try to download something from the roster vault I get an error message and it just says "something went wrong" and I have tried restarting my PS5 and checking the network connection but nothing is working. Any help?

If I wanted to upload a franchise to the cloud so a friend on a different system (Xbox/PlayStation) could download and play, then reupload and repeat the process....

How’s that work this year? Do we have to share the same The Show account that you sign up with? Or is it just straight forward. Only curious about franchise mode.

Just making sure that you are on broadcast presentation not just broadcast camera for hitting and fielding

When I'm playing online every now and then when I'm pitching my meter will disappear then I'll hear a beep noise... What is that???

Is there a button for cutoff and/or relay this year? I try pressing L1 and nothing happens. Even went to the control layout and see no mention of cutoff.
