This will almost certainly be because some DD grinder found a way of boosting XP by turning the sliders funny, so they've punished every normal player to stop the handful of scummy DD players. Just like rocket bunts and various other things

For the love of god they need to make DD free-to-play and separate it from the offline game. It'll never happen though. It ACTIVELY ruins the rest of the game.

I said this two years ago.
DD is the future of the game.
They made it clear two years ago.
DD is their primary source of revenue from this game.
They are going to do anything and everything they can to maximize their profits.
Their profits lie with DD.
The days of franchise improvements are dead. Our demographic is no longer their interest. They've been on this path for the past few years.

Isn't this just because there is no longer an overarching XP reward path in the sense of Bronze tier silver tier etc and instead you're getting XP tied to each individual card for the parallels?

Not really sure why you'd be getting stats towards the parallels outside of DD to begin with, so that assumption I made could definitely be wrong, but if thats the case of course they're not going to let you jack up the sliders and quickly farm those stats.

Of course that sucks for the people changing sliders without the intention of doing that but like the other person said without the overarching XP path as an offline player what exactly do you need XP for?

Earning stubs to collect cards because it is fun, earning stubs to purchase packs to pull sponsorships for franchise mode, equipment for RTTS, earning stubs to buy budget dollars for franchise, earning XP to earn packs and rewards so you can sell them on the market and earn more stubs to buy more packs for offline franchise budget and RTTS equipment.

Yeah kick in the balls.

You have always been able to make stubs in any game mode, whether online or off. There is Offline DD modes is there not. Maybe we like playing all of the modes that come with our $85 game. Instead of asking why are we complaining about it. Why not ask, why it was changed? With no previous release of that information. Why didn't they tell us about it before hand. Or tell us you can't play night games at Created Parks? Because people would not have bought the game thats why. Its shady business practice at its finest and its a crappy move. They are no better than EA at this point and I will never support this product again.

Didn't mention stubs in my post lol. I think thats a bug as cant recall the stats you accrued in a game ever having any tie to the stubs you receive for that game and if not that sucks because i play plenty of franchise mode and will be affected by it as well.

Just telling you why I think the XP is the way it is instead of instantly berating the devs for something that makes plenty of sense to me if what I said is the reason behind it.

To be honest I didn't even make a statement and definitely didnt ask why you're complaing about it.I simply put out why i thought this was the case and asked if anyone else had the same understanding of the new XP system as I did. You guys get so defensive and live in this echo chamber its impossible to have a normal conversation.

Not sure what the xp ever did for DD other than you earning rewards. Maybe I am missing something. Either way, I am not bothered by that part personally. Though it should have been said.

As far as stubs, now that blows @#$. I would use those stubs earned to get new RTTS gear and use those to add some extra money for my budget to my Indians and not make them be so cheap. Plus those stubs would get you better sponsorships in franchise.

Looks like I will just be selling my DD cards this year. I never used them but liked to collect them and always thought it was fun to get a good card from a reward pack.
