I was surprised by this when I logged on this morning. I turned up the pitch speed, making the game more difficult, but now I don’t get XP or stubs. That makes sense..

Yeah I don't like this.
Especially since you can just put the difficulty to beginner and basically abuse the XP.

To make things even worse, you dont even earn stubs anymore in RTTS not even with default sliders, looks like you only earn Stubs in DD for some odd reason. All these changes just forces you to play DD. What happened to the freedom to play as we want, to earn XP in the modes we want with the sliders we want, to earn stubs in every mode we play, I'm puzzled as to why this was all done and changed.

Spoiler alert: they only really care about DD, so naturally they want to force you to play it. That way their telemetry will show that people play that mode more, so they can justify continuing to only put work into that mode.

For the love of god they need to make DD free-to-play and separate it from the offline game. It'll never happen though. It ACTIVELY ruins the rest of the game.

I’ve kept saying this year after year nobody listens Though and says “who cares let dd players play that way and spend $$$l it doesn’t effect you the way they play the game.

Well then is it effecting us now ? Maybe those people get it now what I mean.

At least have some type of matrix with the sliders changes that would have some type of threshold for triggering this change.

If your changes fall in the realm of nerfing the CPU to exploit the system then so be it, but there are a lot of people who use sliders to make the game more realistic and the slider tweaks are made to boost the CPU and make things harder for us, so why punish those who fall on the opposite side of the spectrum?

Exactly, us that enjoy franchise mode and want more realism up the sliders to make it more realistic and a little more difficult, why punish people that make the game harder then what default is. Makes no sense at all. Atleast a little wiggle rokm would have been nice.

Having not played show in quite some time I was curious what purpose does xp play when it comes to franchise mode? Is it a way to unlock abilities of some sort of is xp directly tied to DD?

Which if I'm interested in franchise or rtts only does it really matter or make a difference in the game if I don't earn xp?

XP doesn’t affect Franchise at all. If you are a franchise only player, not getting XP with non-default sliders doesn’t hurt you.

I prefer to play on All Star+ difficulty, in order to prevent the difficulty going up or down you have to adjust the dynamic difficulty slider to 0. Changing that slider which has no effect on gameplay will result in no XP.
