If I want to just play ps5 version do I have to download the PS4 version first? And if so can I just delete PS4 version after they are both downloaded?

Yes they'll both download at the same time. When they're done, just delete the PS4 version. -

Do you HAVE to delete the Ps4 version to play the 5? And if so can you get the Ps4 version back after deleting?

No, you don't have too. When you're on the PS5 home screen and you hover over The Show, press the start button, select game version and you'll be able to chose between the 4 or the 5 version.
If you delete the 4 version, you can re-download it from the same screenComment

they will if you choose to do so...which is completely unnecessary. I will admit that sony's implementation of this is silly, but when you download a title it gives you the option to download either version. why someone would think they needed both is beyond me, but you only need to download the version you want to play.Comment

They both preloaded if you had the option set to preload. I just purchased yesterday and was able to tell the PS5 to just download the PS5 version.Comment
