If possible, could you make sure the PS5 Download Code from the left side of the Steelbook is entered into the PS Store "Redeem Code" section. Afterward, please insert the PS4 Disc into the PS5 and try again? You will need the PS4 disc to proceed. We regret any inconvenience caused by this.

The problem y'all are experiencing doesn't seem wide spread. Makes me wonder if y'all got a bad batch of codes, accidentally missed a step, or didn't follow the process spelled out in the case. That's probably why Sony is having a hard time diagnosing/fixing the problem.

Too bad Sony can't remote into your PS5 and fix the problem.

As of now, I'm getting ready to return the one I bought, and just rebuy to get a new box to get a new code that way.

Ridiculous, that I have to go through this trouble.

Walmart is letting me ship it back and refunding my money. My guess is since it's not a wide spread issue their going to pretend it's not an issue at all. Trying to contact them this week has been silly.....4 replies, first they said make sure the cd is in the system, then they asked if I was still having the issue, then they told me again to make sure the cd is in the system. Ans then that they're aware of the issue and their working on it. Ok, sure. But in the meantime I paid for early access and over a week later still don't have access. Luckily walmart is taking it back. Great dev but damn, customer service on this was absolutely laughable.

Yo everyone!!!! Check it now! I got the below email, fired it up, clicked the three dots and there was two options: $69.99 and Free. Clicked on Free and am now able to download.
