I just hate the league leaders screen. Its like they were trying to copy NBA 2K and failed

Playing HR Derby and you can still see balls on the field throughout the contest that don't go out.

I think that may have been removed when they switched to a new PA guy for 20. I hate that they took it out; loved hearing that type of announcement for all stadiums esp Busch (being from STL) and DC (having lived there for a while) and hearing the announcements for the Metro Red Line.

Lost in a walk off in the bottom of the 9th when Acuna hit a little blooper down the right field line (2-1). Cut scene showed his team mates chasing a helmetless Acuna around the field trying to tackle him. Pretty cool.

Love this. You can really feel the emotion in this years game.

I just had a guy try to bunt on me and my pitch hit him. They said he offered at it and he didn't get to take a base. I've never seen that.

Maybe a placebo effect but I’m seeing more realistic and less little league kind of reactions when batter being struck out.

8th inning my sloth like catcher legs out a double. I substitute a faster runner (outfielder). Last year after the inning was over it would have shown the outfielder in catching gear squatting and stretching behind the plate. You would then have to replace him with your backup catcher. This year it takes you to the lineup screen where you can sub him.

These have probably been in the game for years but they're new to me:

                      1) The pitcher wearing a jacket on base.

                      2) Runners evading line drives on the base path.

                      3) My catcher making the "calm down" motion with his hands after I fell behind 2-0 with two on in the sixth.

I can tell probably like most of you on Xbox are on here posting in this thread this year. About 70 percent of what Ive seen has been in the previous games for some time

When your starter has a quality outing and is shown in the dugout after being relieved and he adjusts his hat and takes a sip of Gatorade.

I try to add pretext to my posts to acknowledge the fact that I'm on XBox and likely mentioning things others have experienced for some time.

I figure fellow first timers would still enjoy the read (as I am when I peruse this thread). And perhaps it can serve as a reminder to long-time players of how special this series may be.

Not sure if this has been the case in previous games, but when starting games around 4pm, players will wear sunglasses to start the game, and take them off as it gets darker. Unfortunately it seems like they go down to the clubhouse and clean off their eye-black too , but still a nice touch

They've all been in the game a number of years now.

                                1) The only time you will never see a pitcher wearing a jacket is if it is a day game in July or August. Otherwise they will always be wearing a jacket every time they get on base.

                                2) Not uncommon for the base runner to halt their progression for a split second to let the line drive pass them before they continue running to the next base.

                                3) You will see the catcher try and calm the pitcher down fairly frequently. But not too much. They usually only make this gesture in key scenarios where the pitcher gets behind and ... yes ... needs to calm down.

I'd like to see SDS fix the pitcher always wearing a jacket issue to only have them do it during actual cold weather games. But the other two features are actually done pretty well at the right times.
