Tell that to the "Franchise guys" that do nothing but attack DD, attack DD players, and whine about how "DD has ruined franchise". And as a general statement, I'm using "DD" as shorthand for ANY mode that is not franchise....it can be MtO, RTTS, whatever.

It's one thing to ask for more attention to be paid to franchise (and offline modes in general) and I am all for that. But for every constructive post about franchise, there are 4 more that de-rail everything. I swear man, every time I mention I'm a "franchise guy" I feel this urge to say "Don't worry, I'm not one of THOSE guys".

If the franchise mode community is to truly evolve into something positive; that 20% of folks that want to really talk about the things need to step-up and tell that 80% that it is unacceptable to attack other modes/players. Because right now, I don't believe the community is deserving of any attention whatsoever.

Your going to honestly sit there and tell me there is not a direct correlation between the downfall of Franchise and the rise of DD? Are we also to believe that if DD wasn’t bringing in the micro transaction inventory it wouldn’t be prioritized over other modes?

If you believe this assertion then your understanding of what lead us to this point is suspect at best. Look, I don’t feel like DD players should be “attacked” or “shamed” for liking a mode. But to trying to convince fans of modes like franchise or road to the show that their modes have been ignored, or in RTTS case completely gutted, isn’t a result of the developers continued focus on DD then you should probably expect some push back

That is my pet peeve and has been for quite some time. Complain about DD all you want. I understand the frustration. But do so without insulting the players of that mode. They are not all children and they are not all "not real baseball fans". In fact I would go so far as to say most of us that even dare to remain part of the community here are adults and real baseball fans. I may not be as hardcore as some here, but even as I type this I am following the Cardinals and Nationals game.

Where are these insults and these so called “your not a real baseball fan posts”? I haven’t seen any this year. And if your referring to the OP, this game is marketed this year at 18-28 year olds. Just look at every The Show commercial you see during any broadcast. Nothing but bat flips, team home run celebrations, over a catchy generic rap instrumental. I am not against it, but you didn’t have to take marketing 101 to see who they are going after

I didn’t buy it. Probably won’t even if it’s like $20 either. I was more referring to your assertion that DD players are a player base that is discriminated against and widely ridiculed. This is simply not true.

Go on any of the platforms with a much larger user base YouTube, twitch, the show nation, Twitter, take your pick. Diamond dynasty reigns supreme and not one person is ridiculing any of them. There has been a small amount of disdain towards DD the mode this forum, but the rhetoric that DD players are so mistreated and shamed is laughable to me.

I did like your bakery analogy however. I think it’s an apt comparison at this point

From my experience, most of these "attacks" aren't real and are just used to actually insult and shame offline players for having the audacity to complain that their modes went unimproved (or worse, made worse) for another year. When A&S is being accused of being toxic, you know the claims aren't actually real lol.

i am a hard core football fan but for people who love DD try moblie most mobile games are made with that in mind


there is a way we can have a deep fran mode and DD

let the DD people pay to upgrade their team and use the extra $ for fran

how i wouild fix this fran

simple copy OTPB give everyone as many choies as they want u want a 500 $ millon have at it etc my system would allow for up to 15 Years 500 milion deals like the tails jr deal

i wouild add all scorebugs from all 30 teams move heidi into a quith pirth rote where she talks about the games in a 3 min package FMV let her do gags cut mattv and add the radio guy from cleland with Eck and the SNY crew means if u pick radio u get cle if u pick tv u get eck with the 3 sny guys
