I've looked for some , haven't found any yet. Was Hoping someone had done Roger Dean Stadium.

They are a massive step backwards to zero benefit. Everything is clunkier, it takes more steps to get to important actions (looking at you, snap), and there is no sense of presentation in the mode like there was last year.


All of the prolific builders from last year are saying the same thing on reddit and twitch - you can get used to them, but they are a big step backwards. It's like they didn't bother to test the new controls with people who actually build stadiums.



Even more frustrating is that they seem to have focused on this new UI, which we didn't need at all, instead of giving us more props to build with, which we badly need to build new things.

There is nothing I can build this year which I wasn't able to build last year. Instead it's just a more frustrating process.



We got the exact same tool, with night lighting, and a much worse interface

I didn't at first but I'm used to them now. I can't say they're any better or worse but I like that I'm able to group objects together.

My thoughts as well. The group feature was something I wanted last year, that along with reducing the amount of resources used by some small art entities. Like you said, specifically with controls - can't say they are better or worse since I've got used to them. One other thing that makes it a little less clumsy, is the ability to set L1/R1 as toggles. That said, I was able to recreate one my MLB21 stadium in a little over an hour.

Edit: Wow, that was really my first post on OS in 4.5 yrs!

Frustrated as all get out at first I have mastered the controls. One thing I love about it this year are the shadows that appear on the field as this didn’t occur last year. Also there’s weather now. Unfortunately creators have not learned that they can delete a stadium from the vault that they have updated. I have submitted a bug report as the scoreboards seem to be too dark at night time.

Placing of light towers outside of the stadiums can give a really cool effect out in the distance when it’s dark. You can even “hide” them inside the stadium to give a cool effect around concessions, et.

Rebuilt my "New Angel Stadium" concept in 22 with a few changes and nighttime upgrades. I tried to keep it as believable as possible. Main inspirations were Kauffmann Stadium, Petco Park, Truist Field, as well as the multiple iterations of Angel Stadium. I've uploaded it to the vault and I don't think its been glitched or anything. Let me know what you think!

That looks cool! Night games look pretty good as well. I thought I read that some folks are experiencing some framerate dips when playing night games in Created Stadiums, did you notice anything like that?

Im not to good with Creating Stadiums so may do some tweeks to this one and make it into a Rays Stadium for my Chise

That stadium looks great. The cowboy themed Autry's restaurant is an especially nice touch.
