Bat on ball is a wet newspaper. Pitch in catcher's mitt is some kind of slap.

What happened here? Immersion is dead in terms of audio which is so disappointing.

Can we please revert back to previous SFX?

I will play innings at a time where there is literally NO noise coming from a sold out MLB stadium. Clearly a bug that I imagine gets fixed in the next patch.

Crowds react well .... but at the wrong freaking time ... how can’t sports games every get this right ... I swear I think I can do this code in excel.

Cheer when the home team does stuff right and go silent when they don’t

If the game is u decided and the home team has runners on ... slowly amp the crowd.

Crowd reaction in sports has never ever ever ever ever been done correctly. Not one time ... I don’t know if this is from a lack of trying. This just seems like basic if(and(or logic ... somebody please correct me if I’m wrong.

I’m 43 years old and I’ve been patiently waiting for someone to get it right since Atari lol.

On top of that I’m a huge fan of proper ambiance, atmosphere and immersion as many of us are, so little stuff like this annoys the hell out of me because it seems so simple to get right, you just have to actually care in the first place.

You touched on it here and I mentioned it last year: seems they have plenty of reactions recorded — it’s not just 5 or 10 different cheers and swells, it seems more like 50 or 100 — there’s just not much evidence that any love was given to when and how they fire.
