Unlockables

I offered this last year, but nobody took me up on it. I don’t play enough to find certain unlock able things. But I like the stadium sounds and have stubs to spare

If anyone has the cash register or the slide whistle sound, I’ll be happy to snag them from you for 5000 stubs each.

I spent all of last year looking for Buck Martinez’s home run call to put in my Jays franchise. Never found it for sale, or in any program or team affinity to unlock.

I’m not really familiar with the unlockables, which one is Buck Martinez’s call?

Wait....you're telling me some of these unlockables listed will just not be available without buying them off the community market place? So they are just randomly going to unlock like a in grinding FPS like Destiny where you have to keep running the same Raids over and over again and hope they finally drop the "rare" loot? Or in the case of "The Show" hope it randomly unlocks some "unlockables"?

I mean, it's a real kick in the kahunas to have to "buy" these extra sound effects in the first place but if I have to grind or buy stubs I should be able to get whatever ones I want and not feel like I am playing a scratch off lottery ticket.

If I am wrong I apologize but I was in there earlier and was wondering why I could select and buy some but not others....it seemed so random but maybe now I get it?

Like Jeff, I looked last year for a few sounds and still haven’t seen them. I don’t know how to unlock them myself, I don’t think it tells you anywhere. So I just check the market periodically. I always have a bunch of stubs anyway, because I don’t play any online modes

So are these unlockable hr calls the original person or just Matt? If they are the original announcers do these calls work with stadium sounds or do you need the announcers turned on cause I always play with them off, sorry Matt.

To be clear, you can see it listed in the unlockables menu but you cannot actually buy it? Cause I saw it (hail to the chief) for sure and even previewed it but I didn't try to purchase it. So if I find a sound I want and try to buy it but it won't let me, then I need to look for someone selling it on the community shop? I'm hating this concept more and more by the second.

Yeah

I have no idea how to unlock certain sounds, they don’t tell you how. I guess you can just get them in packs or on the show shop, but many of them never make it to the shop all year. It’s a stupid system. I’d almost rather they just nickel and dime me to buy them.

Well if it’s in the community shop you can buy it.at least in my experience. Every where else you see it , it appears you can’t buy it. I have not seen hail to the chef yet or the royal trumpet in community market place 😔
