For those that hit or pitch on different levels such as hitting on all star and pitching on HOF, how do you make that decision on which you choose? I’d feel like if I had a good game with whatever option is on the lower level I’d feel like I was cheating. If that makes any sense lol.

Pitching/Hitting different levels
What’s up,

Re: Pitching/Hitting different levels
I agree that dynamic difficulty is the way to go. And remember that you can freeze it at any point in your sliders, by moving the sensitivity to zero.
For a while when they first started the dynamic system, I would hit on Veteran+ but pitch on All Star, because pitching has always been easier for me. With slider adjustments for both to get my desired results.
More recently though, the game became much more difficult on All Star for pitching, IMO, and while I still bat on Vet+ with slider adjustments, I now pitch on Vet+ with default sliders.Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.Comment

Re: Pitching/Hitting different levels
Dynamic difficulty is something I’ve wanted to explore for a few years now. However doesn’t it start out on beginner? I tried doing a exhibition game to get the dynamic difficulty to move up dramatically before jumping into another franchise but I didn’t see what level it was on?Comment

Re: Pitching/Hitting different levels
I tried dynamic difficulty a little in the first days of early launch but I'm currently using all star for hitting and HOF for pitching. Still using the meter to pitch and if I leave it on all star I average 9 K's per game but on HOF I get much more realistic pitching stats.

Re: Pitching/Hitting different levels
I use the hardest difficulty purely so I can turn the pitch speed up to get it as fast as it possibly can go. Anything less and I'm early on everything. It's the only way for me to actually have a fastball get blown by me.
I match pitching on the same level simply because I want them both be the same setting.

It’s not really relevant to this thread but if you aren’t playing DD there’s really no need to worry about XP. I’ve never even tried DD lol I literally only play franchise.Comment

I've also been playing on Legend with max pitch speeds, and while I prefer HOF for a difficulty level, I'm still early on almost everything. I can't make the ball go any faster.YouTube: MLB The Show 21 Atlanta Braves FranchiseComment

Re: Pitching/Hitting different levels
I'm still early quite a bit, but now I can actually be late at times which never happened before. I wish they'd give us the ability to actually make the pitch speed match real life.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: Pitching/Hitting different levels
HOF is the perfect balance for me with a few slider tweaks. I always start of on all star or all star plus but after about ten games it becomes way too easy to pitch. I’ve basically mastered the art of classic pitching so I need as much of a challenge as possible without it being unfair. HOF hitting has been solid too with my pitch speeds at 8-7 on wide camera.Comment

Re: Pitching/Hitting different levels
Honestly for me is sample size. If I play 10 -12 games on a particular difficulty and Im killing it I up my difficulty or if its too difficult that put it down 1 level.. With how much Ive been playing I def think ive leveled everything out now at All Star.. hitting took me a sec but ive been hitting well lately
There are also sliders too for offline so yea. this game is great so far! But they need to fix up a couple things.Comment
