New to the game - no create a player?

So coming from the Madden franchise, they had a cool feature where you could create a player and then only play as them and 'skip' the gametime your player isnt on the field.

Does this game not offer something similar? or even a create a player only options where you can earn a spot on a MLB roster?

Yes you can create a player and use player lock in games to only be him if that's what you want to do. That can be achieved in multiple game modes.

There is a few ways. There is ballplayer which can be made and you play road to the show which is only that player.

You can also just make someone and out them in franchise mode and do player lock which also lets you play just them as well as do a regular franchise where you have full control of everything.

Dealers choice really in which you prefer. First is really all about you and your player second is about the team more you just play as your created player only.
