I think I may have found a fix. I simmed ahead one day and tried playing a game - and it looks to have solved the problem. Have been able to play two weeks of games with no crashes

I was leery of this update. I finished my Spring Training without updates. But then decided to update before starting Regular season. I just played opening day game and no problems here. But after the game loading back to franchise took forever I thought it froze and wouldn’t let me save. But it finally went through. I would not have been happy.

Played a great opening day game. Trailed most of the game 3-0 and only had two hits entering the seventh. But my Mets exploded in the 7th, 8th, and 9th innings and won 8-3.

Same on XBOX. Mine only happens after I sim games tho. I sim to get to the New player draft, but then after that it won't let me get to the bottom of the 1st.

My created stadium will no longer stick when assigned to my franchise team. The name is correct but it o Ky applies the stadium that occupied the slot before I created my stadium. The stadium still loads just fine in all other modes including practice. Just wont allow me to assign it to my franchise team.

I just had this happen to me today. I started my franchise post patch and on my 12th game, the game crashed and keeps happening. It’s only in franchise as play now and DD work fine. Not sure how to fix this.

This issue that many are having is very concerning, no doubt. Has anyone submitted big reports for this problem to SDS?

I just read on another message board that the franchise crashes with the new patch are tied to DOWNLOADED CUSTOM rosters from the vault prior to April 30th. I think live rosters and custom rosters created on your console are not effected. Can anyone verify this?

This must be true. I am using Live rosters on 3 different chises, old Live Roster on 2 n the newest Live roster on one and I’m having Zero issues with them since the latest patch #3 came out.

I’m using a downloaded roster from 5/1 and got the crashing issue. So I am not sure that’s the problem. Though it could just be any custom roster that is creating the issue.

Did you make any edits to the Live Roster prior to starting your franchise? i.e.- Add/Remove players, ratings edits, etc.?

Yeah, maybe the date doesn't matter, perhaps its ANY downloaded roster.

I haven't installed the update as of yet because I heard about this crashing issue prior to the update installing on my PS5. The roster I'm using for my franchise is the first live one with a few custom players added to it. I'm curious to know if anyone is seeing crashing issues with LIVE rosters that have been edited.

I’m Just using the normal roster not download but I edited the heck out of it. I’m about to start my franchise so I’ll have some info soon on if it effects ANY edited rosters
