The issue is still occurring with me post patch. I did create a new franchise with a custom roster and was able to play thru two games with no issue. So it seems to be isolated (for now) to the one franchise save file I have.

This game has been crashing on me since day one. I thought it was my Xbox Series X but none of my other games crash. I tried some troubleshooting but still the same. I’m thinking to uninstall my game & reinstall since that’s the one thing I haven’t tried.

I was leery of this update. I finished my Spring Training without updates. But then decided to update before starting Regular season. I just played opening day game and no problems here. But after the game loading back to franchise took forever I thought it froze and wouldn’t let me save. But it finally went through. I would not have been happy.

Played a great opening day game. Trailed most of the game 3-0 and only had two hits entering the seventh. But my Mets exploded in the 7th, 8th, and 9th innings and won 8-3.

When this happens, log out or put in rest mode and then go back. It is a glitch but at least there is a simple workaround.

Well bad news, new franchise started crashing again. And it was at the exact same point in the season (around June 16th).

I am sort of impressed that every year they can add pretty much nothing to franchise, yet still manage to add a load of game breaking bugs every year. It's impressive in it's own way

Funkycorms roster with a number of my own edits. After some testing, it may be linked to my own edits where I move all CP to RP but that’s not confirmed yet.

Have u tried using another roster and simming to that same point of the season to see what happens? Just curious as others have said they aren’t seeing it anymore

Yeah I can confirm with certainty it is linked to my edits of all CP to RP. I took 3 rosters, simmed to that point with no edits and it worked fine. Then changed all 3 rosters to no CP, and it crashed at that point in the season for all 3.

So the lesson to learn here is, don’t switch any of my closing pitchers to relief pitchers? I reeeally don’t want to run into this issue but very much appreciate the investigation bspring!

I don’t think it’s switching individual players but more so that I switched ALL of them and basically removed CP from the roster

When you say you changed rosters to no CP did you physically edit the players from CP to RP so there was nobody with the designation of CP on the roster or did you not put a player in the CP slot in the rotation?

I can answer this that it was he physically edited all CPs to RPs
