    All Star Snubs

I remember the All Star roster selection being iffy in past versions but What is going on here...Lol.

I finally made it to ASG in my franchise and here are just 3 examples (plenty more)

    MADE ALL STAR GAME
    SS - Didi Gregorious 247/11HR/39RBI/1SB
    3B - Eduardo Escobar 212/12HR/31RBI
    OF - Christian Yelich 268/18HR/48RBI

I chose these players because each team did have another player rep. Yelich isn't so bad until you see whose spot he took.

    DID NOT MAKE ASG
    SS - Trea Turner 299/11HR/40RBI/27SB
    3B- Kris Bryant 288/17HR/52Rbi
    OF - Juan Soto 322/17hr/58RBI

w/21 expanding from 24 man all-star roster teams to 40 man roster teams this should have been one year snubs where few & far between IMO

Any chance it’s because of other factors like OBP, SLG and WAR, etc? All you’re providing is boomer stats, no offense, and I sure hope the AS voting isn’t based on AVG/RBI/HR alone. Those snubs are for sure ridiculous though don’t get me wrong.
      Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.

Season two and it's worse...is nobody else seeing things like this? Cole Tucker SS for pirates made the All Star team with 0 at bats...I think he took Newman's spot?

            Re: All Star Snubs

One possibility, especially given that two players are on Washington, is that the game needed to get at least one player from each team into the game, and left off ones from a team that already had a lot of guys on the AS roster. I've had that happen to me before.

I've also found over the years that the game just doesn't value stolen bases very much.
Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.

If most people are anything like me they just don't care about it. The all-star game offers nothing at all to franchise. No longer has any effect on who gets home field advantage in the World Series. Cant set up contracts to offer bonuses for all-star appearances. No pages that show who was an all-star after you move on to the next season. Broadcast might mention someone was an all-star but I cant remember them doing it.

Dont get me started on how the only thing that matters for Gold Glove is which division you are in.
