Do runners start at second in playoffs?

If that option is enabled for extra inning games in franchise? In real life, will they be starting at second in playoffs? My mind is shot!

that's a great question. the last I heard MLB hadn't decided one way or the other if that would be in the 2021 post-season. gimme 10 good minutes to fire up the game and I'm curious as well to see. unless someone already in the know posts

so what I did is went to post-season mode to see if the new rule was there to toggle on/off. it is.
so it stands to reason if you start your franchise with it on you have to play it with the post-season on also. that's my best guess for now.
I still want to sim a season and see what happens. that shouldn't take too long to find out as I'll play with all 30 teams as user controlled

so within franchise if you start with runner rule on you don't get the choice to cut it back off once the post-season begins, and from what I learned in my second post that ability is there in the post-season only Mode , so if you were going to get that option it would come up before the first post-season game


TLDR if you have the extra inning runner rule on in the regular season you have to also play with it on in the post-season

I wasn’t a fan of it in real life. But playing with in the Show has helped stop those hours long 20 inning games so it has grown on me. But I’ve been thinking... I think what it should be is 10th start runner on first, 11th start a runner on second, and if it got to a 12th start a runner on third.
