So we get logos like this but no way to shuffle divisions or set a number of games in a season? Sony says MLB thinks that's out of line to do that!

Really? These logos are being made by random people and SDS is making an effort to moderate the vault and remove inappropriate content. If SDS was making their own inappropriate logos for the game or encouraging players to do so then there would be a problem, but your comparison makes no sense here.

You’re far from the only one on here frustrated about the lack of attention to franchise mode, but come on.

In fairness, I doubt “how will someone use this to recreate 9/11?” really came to mind when they were designing props.



You just hope they beef up their moderation staff and get a better handle on it, because for better or worse this comes with the territory of allowing the community to share content.

Just accept people are always going to be immature and/or insensitive and/or inappropriate and/or have dark senses of humor. Accept that and don't allow what they do to bother you. Look at it, shrug your shoulders, report, and move on. It's not worth giving much more thought to it. Allowing it to make you mad or take up space on your head is doing exactly what the creator wanted.

Most of the people making these types of things only do it knowing they'll tilt someone else. That's pretty much it.

I played a guy in DD the other day whose team name, location, logo, and stadium all revolved around the use of the N word. I saw it, rolled my eyes, played the game, reported the guy, and moved on. He tried messaging me after the game, I simply said "reported" he sent back 20 messages trying to get a reaction from me, I ignored him. These people only want reactions. Don't give it to them. That can apply to many things in life, too.

I create the logos for my team and don't care about the rest because I'm not going to use them.

A windmill and the name of the team - Farmers.

Not sure why people would browse a lot of other logos.

When I created my rebranded 30-team league last year, it was very convenient to browse through all the logos and pick those I liked the most. I had no intention to create 30 logos from scratch.

The vault exists for a reason: sharing. That’s why people browse a lot of other logos. You may not have a need for it, but others like me find it very useful.

I think throughout my searches in the vault, I would find 1 out 10 things offensive which is surprising considering how nasty some people can get. But yeah, I think on release day I saw a lot of dicks and happy endings.

Well on the positive, this reaffirms my belief that I'm a good person. I saw the plane and ive seen the building prop that looks like the twin towers. Never at any point did my brain go to the idea of recreating 9/11.

I don't offend easy and I can usually find humor in things a lot of people wont. All I listen to on my drives is Howard Stern and Bill Burr is my favorite comedien ever.

You could dissect forever the reasoning of a stadium being called something N word or recreating 9/11 and you could never rationalize to me why thats funny. Just so unnecessary.

Same thing with NBA2k. They flag "inappropriate" text that isn't bad at all, and then when you go to download shared artwork you see topless women and sexually explicit material. They look like idiots over it.

This is why 3rd party communities, sharing and PC style file management is king. When everything is forced through official servers, this is what happens, and they can't keep up with moderation. When you download files from a community site dedicated to the game, however, you never see this sort of problem. Unfortunately, Sony has blocked all that off, and it's one reason why if a PC version of this game was developed I'd drop the PS version in a heartbeat.

Not sure SDS really has to do anything in this situation. Companies subvert this problem by stating a game's rating may be different when playing online.

yeah they definitely don't HAVE to but kudos to them for doing that anyways.
the sexually explicit logos didn't personally offend me but I'd still rather prefer they not be there.
the only logo that actually troubled me was the one disrespectful to George Floyd

I was suspecting something when I saw my kid sudden interest in logo vault and uniform design ( he don’t like MTS and usually playing other games).

After a second look, i found tons of new sexually oriented logos. I flagged them but I’m calling all parents here with young kids to maybe do the same so Sony clear them out.

Yea I saw the same problem and reported a bunch. I had to take a break from doing my 30 team custom franchise because going through the vault was becoming a joke
