    Modifying Hot/Cold Zones

Is there any way to modify the hot/cold zones of a batter? Are there certain ratings categories that determine a hitter's hot/cold zones? Thanks.

Thus, the zones are completely random for created and generated players?

It seems so. And from what I can tell, they don't seem to improve when you sim games in the minors, no matter how good the player does and no matter how much his ratings might improve. It....sucks, and takes a lot of the fun out of drafting and developing guys.

I wasn't aware of all of this until a few weeks ago myself, despite playing the game for years.

The zones definitely change for certain players..I just haven't tracked which type of player.
