After being promoted to AAA I only lasted like 15 games before I was called up to The Show which was shocking considering this was still year 1 and I started off as 58 OVR with everything at default. I wasn't expecting to crack the Dodgers' elite lineup until at least year 3 if I wasn't traded first.

I made a slugging speedy RF I got drafted by the Cubs to replace the aging Jason Heyward. I'm a month in Triple A and hopefully I'll get called up soon. So far I'm enjoying this year's rtts!!

Dodgers finished with 106 wins but still 1 game back of the Giants and we had to settle for a nail-biter wildcard win against the Padres. We then beat the Giants in a thrilling 5 games divisional series before easily handling the Mets in the NLCS 4 games to 2.

I only got called up in August 2021 but was still able to secure some nice personal hardware:



Dodgers are going back-to-back this time with me on the roster.

So through the Wild Card, Divisional and League Championship series I was seriously tanking at the plate with batting average in the 100s, swinging at everything out of the zone, choking with runners in scoring position. I was pressing trying to live up to my Rookie of the Year hype. I seriously thought I was going to get demoted and sent back down to AAA next season.

And then I just took a step back, and with calm breaths went all zen as in see the ball and be the ball. At least for Game 1 of the WS.

After taking a commanding 3 games to 1 lead in the 2021 World Series, the Dodgers dropped 3 straight and had to watch the Angels celebrate a game 7 World Series Championship at Dodger Stadium. I hit 5 HRs in the series but mostly solo shots and none difference makers. Clutch at bats I came up short.

From the Double-A Tulsa Drillers to Game 7 of the World Series. What a whirlwind of a first season.

Season 2 and front-runner for Cy Young and League MVP. It's safe to say that this two-way thing has been a smashing success thus far. Shohei WHOtani?
