It's such a serious issue that keeps getting ignored. 🙄

Which mode is this in, just online? Just curious because I checked both guys and I’m seeing faces for both (albeit non scans) in both DD and offline.

All modes if I'm correct. I play offline franchise , they are there.. homerun derby , they are there .
It sucks !!

The player I post are only are online related no matter the face created offline any player without a true scan face will get the glitch face period.


Yes, last year in December thee was a patch due to a server issue in custom league that made several real scan players about a dozen of them lose there scan face. There are a few this year I'm sure on offline that have it you just gotta go looking.


Anyways, the issue is player ID related. My guess is them not assigning the correct player ID to these players instead they all are getting the glitch face person PLAYER ID.

As of 6/30/23 and 11 patches still no fix and this list is growing larger. This is an eye sore for any custom league player of the show series from MLB THE SHOW 20-23.

Patch 15 is about to come out and we still haven't had a response or a fix to the players not looking how there created offline within custom leagues and they show up correctly in your own roster updates but inside custom leagues they allget the same face where it's a white man clean shaven face. They lose any facial hair or long hair to.

All im asking is to please fix this these players should look like they do offline . It's only happens inside custom leagues not anywhere else and its only to non scan faces.

To recreate create a league and go into a game with any non scan player such as Astros Corey Julks, Yainer Diaz etc and u will see they look nothing like they do in the roster in main menu.

I have been keeping a list just to see how many players have this issue inside my own custom league.

As of 10/05/2023 there has not been any fixes to this situation or any for that matter for CUSTOM LEAGUES but 19 game updates for DD.
We have played about 30 games in our custom league and the list is growing.
