Quick question about CPU Roster Control

As I mentioned in an earlier thread that I made, I made the mistake of starting my franchise with CPU Roster Control on. A mistake I was unwilling to fix due to being invested already and not wanting to start over.

I have another question now that I'm 50 games in. I purposed a trade with the Dodgers and it wasn't accepted or declined. Is trading not applicable with CPU Roster control on? Do I just have to manually force the suggested trade?

Really huge mistake by me to put that setting on, and even worse is that it is irreversible and I'm far too invested now to start over.

Go to ROSTER CONTROL in your franchise and make the trade. Don’t use ROSTER as waivers might apply.

I'd start over, but that's just me.

Not starting over. I've already played 50 games. Far too invested for that. Unfortunate mistake.
