When you do meter show you max out on your meter on your fastball or your non fastballs or you not to max out on the meter and every pitch you should put it in the beginning of the meterTags: None -

Mix it up. Keep the hitters off balance by changing speeds and location.Comment

Re: Meter pitching
Not to back seat mod but my bro you should be using the q&a thread for all this stuff. You’ve got like six open threads for tiny questions.Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.Comment

Re: Meter pitching
For instance, throw a slider at beginning of meter and you'll likely hit your mark, but the movement on the pitch will be less. Maxing out the meter and the slider will have a more nasty break, but again you increase the chance of missing your mark or the slider doing nothing if you miss the accuracy mark.
As suggested in the thread, mixing it up is the best option as continuously maxing out will tire your pitcher quicker.
Also, try to keep like pitches in the current at-bat at the same "effort". Example, if you're throwing fastballs in the yellow, try throwing sliders/change ups in the same yellow area as it seems this gives the hitter the perception the pitch is coming from the same arm angle.
Anyways, my .02I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Meter pitching
fastballs in the zone I max out to the maxiest. fastballs outside the zone, half filled meter
breaking pitches, half filled meter
change-ups, ''empty'' meter
about once or twice a game I'll start off a batter with a change-up right down the heart of the plate with a maximum speed change-upOSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23
