And please for the life of me get rid of the big numbers on the bill of the Yankee helmets. They don't have those in real life. The helmets were fine in 20. Why the change?

I take back my comment on the number on the bill of the helmet. The reason it looks absurd is the font that is used is wrong. I understand the code they use can only use the number font from the back of the jersey when in reality the number on the back of the helmet and the bill is a totally different number font. Maybe one day it will get corrected. It's just funny how after all these years it suddenly appeared on MLB The Show 21 and wasn't there in previous versions.

Imagine if SDS adds the 1982-1986 or the 1987-1990 White Sox uniforms!

I hope they’ll add the medium socks pants that a lot of players were wearing last season. Not quite high socks but not quite low socks. Fernando Tatis and Clint Frazier are the first two that comes to mind that we’re wearing them.

I believe the Yanks always had the numbers on the helmet bill in the game, although like you said it was never the right font. But they were there until 18 and 19 I believe it was, and then they mysteriously disappeared from the bill and back of the helmet. They returned in 20, but something about the new machpro helmets make them look laughably huge. If you switch back to the helmets they wore prior to the machpro they are a normal size.

Edit: After some research numbers weren’t on the helmets in 17 either, but were on the bill and back in 16.

Probably won't happen because of the P.C. Police. Also it's gonna be interesting to see what SDS does with Cleveland's throwback uniforms. Hopefully they remain intact of course Chief Wahoo had already been deleted so a compromise would be to just replace the previous name with "Cleveland" on the 1994 Home/Navy Alternate/1989 Home/1975 Red & Navy/1948 Home etc.

How about a proper Chicago Cubs road throwback uniform. Either the 1990-1993 (Rookie of the Year) or the 1994 "CUBA" inspired uniform with the red bill cap.
