To be fair, we don't know how many people play spring training games, but they do. So it's possible that putting ST uniforms in the game isn't worth the time for them if a small percentage would be using them. 15 years of playing this game I don't think I've ever played a spring training game. Not criticizing those who do at all.

They should go with a style for each manger, should be pretty simple. Madden has it so you can edit the style for the head coach.Comment

Re: Uniform wishlist for The Show 23
The teams aren't even wearing ST jerseys anymore, they are going with the regular alternate due to the stupid new 4+1 rule. Since these uniforms now count as official uniforms they can easily add them as alternates for the few teams that don't wear regular alternates and delete/replace the warm up uniform slots. To be fair, we don't know how many people play spring training games, but they do. Re: Uniform wishlist for The Show 23
Some teams are still wearing Spring Training uniforms. Dodgers, Cardinals, Reds, Braves, Marlins, White Sox, Tigers, and Yankees are all wearing Spring Training uniforms, and the A's, Blue Jays, and Angels are wearing normal jerseys without NOB. A lot of other teams had been wearing normal alts for a few years now. The only teams that changed Spring Training jerseys this year, that I know of, are the Twins (who changed all their jerseys) and the Mariners. The teams aren't even wearing ST jerseys anymore, they are going with the regular alternate due to the stupid new 4+1 rule. Re: Uniform wishlist for The Show 23
Same, I thought overall they did a good job being the NFL provider (I liked most color rush unis) but I didn’t like the direction they took the NBA (I’m not a fan of the city stuff).
So far MLB has been a big thumbs down imo.Comment

I’m wishing more and more than the Under Armour deal would have worked out.Comment

I like some of the City stuff, but a lot of it is bad. And not a fan of them constantly cycling even the good ones out. And they did the same thing with jersey limits in the NBA. Wish Under Armor had taken over as the sponsor.

Re: Uniform wishlist for The Show 23
None of them are wearing ST jerseys. ST jerseys would have the FL or AZ patch just like the hats they are wearing have. These jerseys count as one of the 5 jerseys teams are allowed, the Seattle Mariners confirmed this specifically. The Yankees, Tigers, Cardinals etc can afford to do this because they don't have additional alternates that they wear in season. Some teams are still wearing Spring Training uniforms. Re: Uniform wishlist for The Show 23
Spring Training jerseys haven't had those patches since 2020. Attached is a screenshot shot from a 2020 Spring Training game with the Mariners wearing their powder blue spring training jerseys and the Reds wearing the red jerseys with Mr. Red (a Spring Training jersey that the Reds still wear, but their regular red alt says "Reds".None of them are wearing ST jerseys. And the Cardinals do have alternates. They have their home jersey, road jersey, home throwbacks (Cream with "St. Louis", and road alternates (powder blue).
I understand that the Mariners said they dropped them due to that rule, but other evidence (such as the Braves wearing the same Spring Training jerseys they've worn for years but don't wear during the season) points to that not being the case.

That's why it baffles me that they can't add those jerseys to those teams as official alternates, since that's apparently how they're looked at now.None of them are wearing ST jerseys. Re: Uniform wishlist for The Show 23
Reality of things is that we only need the "alternate" jerseys for the teams that dont have it or dont wear it in the regular season such as the Tigers and Yankees.. with those we can have an authentic ST experience since teams that have the alternate jerseys already use them during ST 90% of the time (A's wearing the kelly green, Mets with the blue tops all ST for ex). The missing piece are the teams that dont have "real" alternate jerseys (Tigers, Yankees, etc) (Tigers actually have 2, home(navy/white) and road alternate (navy/orange))

love this jerseyLast edited by brunnoce; 03-21-2023, 11:10 AM.---------------

Re: Uniform wishlist for The Show 23
But on the brightside I can recreate the 1989 NLCS and ALCS as those clubs have their proper throwback uniforms in. Sadly it doesn't look like the A's will get the Moneyball Green tops or 70's Green tops but who knows. The only Club that's in The Show that doesn't have 80's Home/Away uniforms are the White Sox. SDS instead chose to add their 1943 set but I wouldn't using those as a Sunday alternate or the 1919 set.Proud season ticket holder for the Oklahoma City ThunderComment
