It’s because they essentially outsource it to them and Nike doesn’t want to mass produce more than 4. Plus it allows them to potentially have one new uniform every season for city connect or something like what they do with the NBA.

I understand why Nike wants to limit it. I just think it's idiotic baseball let's them do that. MLB is the client, if Nike can't handle more than 4, someone else can get the contract.

For the same stupid reason we’re getting all Fanatics stuff in the NHL. Easier and cheaper to outsource it to them to manage. Which inevitably is worse for us as the consumer.

Nike has to use all their resources to make sure Oregon football has a different uniform for every game of the season.

Oregon only has 4 uniforms now too. They rolled that back a few years ago.

This year they wore 4 different helmets, 6 jerseys, and 7 pants. We'll have to wait and see what they wear in the bowl game.

In 2022, they wore 4-6 helmets (depending on if you count the black helmets with pink wings distinct from black helmets with green wings or the green helmets with green facemasks distinct from green helmets with yellow facemasks), 6 jerseys, and 7 different pants.

They still have a lot of uniform options, even if it's not quite "every game".

I definitely missed the 2 extra. I miss the days of them having new uniforms every game though. The more, the merrier (unless it’s some of the bad City Connect ones like Texas).

They need to adjust the positioning of uniform numbers if a team doesn't have names on the back of the jersey.

It's always bugged me to see uniforms still have spacing above their uniform numbers as if there should be last names on the back in the game, when teams IRL will just move the numbers up on the jersey

Found this article this morning. Don’t really like any of this. Looks like Nike is going the NBA route with the MLB jerseys now, and making lettering and numbers smaller and crammed together. I really with UA would have ended up getting the license.

I wish the Mets would ditch the black already and go back to both blue alternates. But if they are using this cap, bring back the original blue brim version.

I think having two alternates in the same color is pretty silly. Wish they'd wear their blue alternate on the road some, though.

Been asking for years and never gotten it, but I really wish they would add the Pirates 2001-mid 2000s home white vest and road grey vest. Maybe even get crazy and add the red vest they wore that one year.

Also, ridiculous they still dont have moneyball Oakland greens.

Baggy uniforms

No helmet ear flaps

No batting helmet option before helmets were introduced they wore their soft hats
Can't stand the over sized mushroom helmets.


Pants that slide lower below the knees

Angle adjustment for hats

More era glove options

Logo creation option for shoulder patches

It is a shame that the moneyball A's green top isn't in and neither is their 70's green top. Also Pittsburgh is missing their iconic 1979 Black Top/Yellow trousers, Baltimore is missing their 1995 Away top, San Diego is missing their 1998 Navy top and Milwaukee is missing their 1994-1999 Navy top.


Also The Brewers and the White Sox dodn't get any love in as they don't have any 1980's throwback uniforms in the game.
