LIST OF FEATS YET TO ACCOMPLISH IN THE SHOW

Hey guys! First off, I’ve play this game for a loooong time and I always play every game every inning every pitch, so last night for the first time ever I turned a triple play against the Blue Jays. Stepped on 3rd threw to second and then first... it was close at 1st but the ump (probably Angel, nah its a Joke haha) called the runner out.

So.. Once I realize what I have done for the first time ever, and that also recently I finally pitched a No Hitter, I started thinking of baseball feats that are I have left to accomplish on any given game... and If you guys have any feats left to accomplish?


I’ll go first:

20K Game with my Starter
Four-Homer Game.
Stealing Home. (This one is hard)
Unassisted Triple Play. (This one I think is the hardest)
Perfect Game.
Four Strikeouts in One Inning.
Complete Game Shoutout
Hit a Home Run with Pitcher

never turned the kind of triple play I want to, groundball to third, to second, to first.

the triple play I pulled off was a strikeout and throwing a runner out attempting to steal third.
then I went after the runner going from first to second but threw the ball away,
then threw that runner out at third too, trying to advance on the bad throw.
so a little league triple play, not a Major League triple play lol

other things I'd like to accomplish:
single game - hit a grand slam with a pitcher
a bases-loaded triple-steal
a leadoff homerun in the first inning and a walk-off homer with same player

season accomplishment -
win an AL East division title. already won a division title in the other divisions
hit .400 with a single player
win 110 or more games in the regular season

On MLB 20

I hit for the cycle with Ian Desmond

Threw a perfect game with Dylan Cease vs Rangers in Texas

Struck out 24 batters with Chris Sale in Boston.

Threw a combined no hitter with my astros using Urquidy.

Turn triple play with Rockies.

MLB 21

No hitter with Flaherty on cardinals striking out 18.

Next game took no no into 9th with wainwright and he hit a hr for our first pitcher in league to do that.

All these feats were done online in my custom league vs another user not the CPU.

Never played a full 162 game season
Never broke any single game season records
Never threw a no hitter
Never did a triple play
Never did an inside the park home run

I threw a perfect game in 14
I've hit an inside the park HR, don't remember the year.
I hit for the cycle in 21 with Acuna Jr.
I may have done more, but nothing stands out in my memory.

LIST OF FEATS YET TO ACCOMPLISH IN THE SHOW

I’ve been playing The Show since its inception and I’ve never accomplished the 4HR feat until today. Just a quick note, I play hard core sim style and challenging type gameplay. I play every game of the current MLB season and post season if I make it.

The 4 HRs in a row earlier today happened like this: Cubs at Reds: Jeff Hoffman P: W. Contreras, J. Heyward, J. Pederson, J. Marisnick

In the same game Joey Votto hit his 300HR against me and he took a curtain call which was pretty cool!

A few feats that I’d still like to accomplish are:

* Throw a perfect game
* Strikeout 20 in game with one pitcher
* Hit 4 home runs with the same player in the same game
* Turn a triple play
* Score 20 plus runs in a game
* Win the Triple Crown with one of my players
* Set a new single season RBI or HR record
* Have 30/30 season with a player on my team

Lastly, this is a really cool post/thread. I was thinking of creating something similar earlier today.

I have never hit a HR with a pitcher (And probably won't now, since I've got DH turned on in both leagues), but...

In either late April or Early May of 2017, playing as the Marlins in my franchise, Bartolo Colon hit a homer against me. It was an embarassingly funny moment, that was made even funnier within a week or so, when real-life Colon hit his first career bomb.

Never gotten a triple play

Never got that achievement for Trout from 15(?) I think. Had him on my team for years. I didn't even care that it wasn't an achievement any more, I wanted it. Hit for the cycle and steal 2 bases in one game.

I think I've done mostly everything else. I guess I can say I've never thrown a perfect game with a right-hander.

Hmm.

I've never actually won the World Series.

I play every pitch of every game. Most of the time, I don't finish. I played the full season in 2012, but lost the World Series in 7 to the Yankees. Also played a full season in 2019, but got knocked out in the Division Series.

Going back to the 90s, I got to the World Series with the Indians on MLB 98, but lost to the Braves. I got to the World Series on MLB 99 with the Braves, but lost to the Indians.

I think Triple Play 96 is the last time I won a World Series.

I've gotten two 19k games on default hall of fame sliders. Whenever I miss the cycle its the triple I miss; Usually miss out with a first baseman or corner outfielder. And the cpu beat the throw by half a step.

I have never picked a runner off. And I have played baseball games since 1990. That is a 31 year drought of not picking off a runner at any bag.

Also, I've never won the World Series. (Enter head down sad emoji)

Ready and confident to change both of those this year!
