For me personally this is the only Mode I have played for as long as I can remember. Guessing it has been the last 10+ years. I have always been a HUGE baseball guy. I also enjoy the numbers and absolutely love being the manager. Every year I can't wait until the release and to say this year has been a disappointment with the camera issue would be an understatement. I play from the Broadcast Cam and I feel as the manager this gives me the best vantage point to make decisions on my pitchers location that day. It can have huge implications on getting a W or an L knowing if he is on or off that day. I play with a bottom tier team so I need all the info I can get to make the best decisions. Nothing more satisfying then leading your team to a W that day based on your decision making! My couch looks like a War Room with papers everywhere tracking my pitchers movements, pitch count etc. Without this camera it really takes away from the mode imo

I have no interest in being a button pusher for my results as my eyes are not that good and I am somewhat of an old fart. I have tried the Backstop Cam to start my season (because of no choice obviously) but I just do not like the view for several reasons. All my rosters, lineups, rotations for every team are set for Opening Day, now just waiting on a fix. With each patch I get excited in hopes that this is the one!

I really don't want to get much farther behind so wish they would just tell us "Not this year" or "Fix is coming very soon" so I can decide on how to move forward. I don't feel like that is too much to ask from us MOM loyal customer guys

To me it is the purest way to play the game. I usually get two or three full seasons won’t have each release. Being limited to just the one camera just does not work for me.

Hopefully SDS fixes this soon

Good news. I wonder if the fixed the problem with "pitch to batter" that resulted in a pitchout. I submitted bug report last year but it never got fixed in 23.

Last year when you selected "pitch to batter" from the menu instead the pitcher threw a pitchout. L2-X on ps3. Is that still the case or has it been fixed?

Something I wish you could do in MoM mode, is access the Quick Manage option. Like you can in a regular game.

I’d love to be able to use QM to manage the game with the option to jump in/out of MoM mode.

Amen! When I play OOTP, I desire the visual, so when I play the Show I try to emulate OOTP as much as possible with MoM. For years now, I have cried that MoM could be so much more, and if only it were a priority for the developers.

At least this was fixed and hope someday the ratings-sim crowd could get a complete offering.

Now that they finally fixed the camera angle, I’d be interested in hearing some feedback on how The Show 24 actually plays in MOM vs. 23. Are there any improvements or other new problems? How are the game and sim stats? How’s the variety in game results? Any major things that need to be addressed by sliders? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Still a little early but the one thing I noticed right off the bat is that I usually have slider contact at 6. Looks like this might be a bit much this year. In my Yankees franchise the first 4 games against Houston they bashed 14 homers.

Now it may have been an anomaly but I have dropped the contact slider down back to default. In the past having it at 5 hitting was just awful.

Just a first thought.

Playing Franchise with pretty much default sliders (with a few exceptions) and my 99 in everything pitcher routinely gets shelled and only throws strikes 55-60% of the time, resulting in numerous short outings (100 pitches in 4 innings). He should be elite. It seems like at default the player ratings do not matter at all.
