I have 12 as my second favorite but for probably different reasons:
I had 12 for the PS3 & the Vita, so I put more time into that year playing the Show than I ever had previous to that, and not just the Show, but any baseball video game period. as for work, that was no doubt my least productive ever, because I spent sooo much time at work on the Vita. good times

FWIW 14 is my favorite, I still spend a ton of time replaying it. even went so far as to make a run on nearly every Gamestop within a 60 mile radius of Birmingham, rounded up about a dozen $2 discs. never gonna worry about not being able to play 14 lol

I spent more time playing 14 the year it came out than I did 12 because that was the first fall in 15 years I didn't have NCAAF to take away from my baseballing

I been playing mlb the show from the beginning. I was too happy when it came to xbox because I wasn’t able to get next gen Sony only Microsoft. I’m in love with this game. I was bum about not able to do sounds of the show but I look at it as less work to do and I can go straight to franchise. I notice every first year sports game on next gen is just showing us the future. And if madden has shown us so far the second year in sports for next gen is going to be awesome. The only complaint I have is and this started to happen with the last patch the runner will stay in the middle of the base and won’t tag or go back to original base. The fielding I love but I turn it to auto cuz I’m seeing more animations then I did with it on assisted. My throwing is manual for fielding no meter.

LOL...I'd say you're covered for having '14 to play

'14 is up there for me. '16 is probably my second favorite simply because I played it for 2 years

All of them in the series have been good, even '17, which I bought but set out afterwards and went back to '16.

Yeah, I definitely play the Show more since there isn't another sports game to take time away.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Life commitments made me set aside video gaming 25+ years ago. These days an empty nest has given me the time to ease back into some gaming. What a different world it is! Believe it or not the last baseball game I played was the High Heat series, 2003 I believe was the last version I played. Really enjoyed those games, but The Show of course is an entirely different level. What appeals to you guys about the earlier Shows over this current one? Gameplay? Thanks for any input

I’m 99% sure I can’t but is there a way to get a percentage breakdown for a pitcher of how much he throws each one? I know I can during the game, I’m talking pregame and when a pitcher comes into the game.

It's a great game but in manage mode their are still a few issues that have never been fixed and a new issue - the game crashes when you pinch hit or pinch run with a player of a different position.

If the cpu expects the user pitcher to sacrifice there is no way to correct that and have the pitcher swing away. He will just stand there taking pitches. 3-2, 2 out force play the runners go with the pitch for the cpu team but not for the user controlled team.

There are some of these nuisance issues they should clean up but still a great game. Created stadium was a great addition.

MLB 12 The Show was a great game to me as well. Loved it all year and played it for a few years after as well. It was one of those games where everything just felt good.
