As a single player player I find it to be a waste of time as well. They need to create some kind of league or season mode for DD single player. Otherwise it feels pointless with the only novelty being that you can play as legends.Comment

I have a lot of it done, including the Live Series and Rivera, no money spent. This is the first year I've done it, really, and I'm burned out.
Each inning program introduces more overpowered cards, making the ones you have obsolete, and at the end of the year nothing will matter because the grind will start anew in 22. The hamster wheel aspect of "constant live service" is not for me. I miss NCAA trophy cases -- when they were filled up, that was it.
I guess what I'm saying is that I can't see myself continuing because the time commitment is far too great for the impermanence of the yearly cycle. SDS is working on an addiction algorithm, feeding content like a social media site feeds recommendations -- to keep you hooked up to the IV.
I'm unhooking. It's been fun.Comment
