Help With Setup to Stream

Sorry for the added thread. But I am trying to set up so I can stream on YouTube.


I have linked my PS5 to my YouTube account.
I clicked on share and click go live. It asks me what channel and I select YouTube. It then asks me that I need to verify my account at YouTube.com/verify. I try clicking the link it gives me on the PS5 but it takes me to a page that gives me videos on how to verify my account. It says I am supposed to see a page where I enter my phone number.

So I go on my laptop and go to YouTube.com/verify and it just takes me to the YouTube homepage.

I try to click on create a channel and it takes me to a page of a bunch of videos. It says whe I create a channel it should ask me what I want to name it. I don’t get that page.

I need help or some YouTube for dummies instructions.

So I was finally able to verify my phone number on YouTube. I go to the game and click on live broadcast and select YouTube. It tells me that I need to verify my account and it may take up to 24 hours. I click on the website and it tells me I already verified it.

Am I waiting on them to verify it or did I forget a step?
