Question about quirks for franchise users - if anybody knows

There are a couple quirks I'm trying to figure out relative to their impact on attributes.

Plays better at home...away. If he plays better at home does that mean he plays better than his listed attributes at home? If so, then does he play worse than his listed attributes on the road?

Plays better at day...night. If he players better in the day does that mean he gets a boost to listed attributes during the day. If so does he play worse than attributes at night?

One more question. Created stadiums are exclusively day games. Are they really day games or is it just the graphic that's a day game? I seems from the out of town scoreboard that it might be a night game. I wouldn't care except for the quirk.

plays better at day, slight boost over stated attributes, night plays at stated attribute levels
same across the board in all scenarios

dunno about created stadiums, still playing on a ps4

I want to say a stick-and-carrot policy isn't near as effective as the stick-and-doughnut approach.

I also want to create a doughnut-cutter stadium.


also, I wonder if you can create a stadium with no lights, so that it would be plausible to have all day games scheduled

For the created stadium, I believe the quirk is relative to how the game is set while playing. So even though it's a 7:05 game, when you're playing it's set as a day game, so I think the quirk relates to that instead of the time listed for the game.

I haven't confirmed this, just how it makes sense logically to me

If you look at the game log it will say it's a start time at night if it's scheduled to be a night game. Only the developers know for sure but I suspect the game treats it for quirk purposes as whatever time it is scheduled to be.
