You can do this though it's much easier on the xbox platform. Go into game management and delete game saves from "everywhere" then go into console settings and go offline momentarily. Your my ballplayer should be reset to Joe Random. Then go into inventory and sell off all perks (the default ones won't let you sell) and all equipment. Then go onto market place and spend stubs on stuff like sponsorships that can't be used in RTTS. Then start a new RTTS and save the file when it gives you the option to. Now reconnect to the internet and upload your save to the cloud. There will be a my ballplayer conflict, just overwrite the old save and you're good.
On PS5 it doesn't allow you to reset your my ballplayer with this method but you can link with an xbox console and start a new RTTS game but download from the cloud and it overwrites your my ballplayer with the default one.
I started a new PS5 RTTS player with all attributes and archetype/perks/equipment at default with no stubs to buy any upgrades yet. Truly starting at the bottom.
