zone hitting
I just switched to zone because was having difficulty with directional. I am doing better with zone but still need. I seem to be too slow with the stick to make consistent good contact. I didnt like directional because I felt like it relied on the computer too much and some of things I did didn't matter i was going to be out no matter how well I timed the swing or direction. Does anyone have any tis for either zone or directional to be better hitter. I like zone now but will go back to directional if tips help.Tags: None -
Re: zone hitting
What difficulty are you playing? I often anticipate what pitch is coming and react to it. Like you said there isn’t much time at all to move the cursor so I usually put it where I anticipate the pitch to be and make really small adjustments as the ball comes. But if often find that the more I move the cursor while the pitch is coming the less successful I am. -
Re: zone hitting
For directional/timing hitting I would recommend changing difficulty to dynamic. Raise sensitivity slider to 10 and play a at least 30 games and see what difficulty you stick around and lock that in. Not afraid to admit I am stuck on the Vet/Vet+ range. Any higher and I absolutely just can not hit and it's no fun. To go faster just sim pitching and hit only using multiple teams in a test franchise save. If you get the correct difficulty for your skill level Directional hitting IMO is best and easiest method to hit on the game. I never actually try to move LS to direct ball so couldn't help you there. And I always use X to swing no matter what if that helps. Keep it simple.
