No, my point was not that they have to hop on OS or any other forum, and engage with the community.
I’m sure they are aware of the issues. They get the reports and submissions on it all.
However, I think companies and businesses can buy themselves a solid amount of goodwill with transparency. Could they post major/larger known issues on a central location, and acknowledge what can be patched/will be patched during the 2021 cycle, or what will be addressed in future iterations?
I don’t expect or need interaction, but transparency would be nice. They used to be much more active, and in my opinion, the quality of the product was much better when they were. That’s not practical anymore, but more transparency would at least make it feel more connected.
But anymore, they can buy folks off with a free pack or a couple thousand stubs, and all is well.
