Outfielder speed/reaction slider for realism

Any advice on what setting best reflects real life speed and reactions for outfielders?

I’ve got both down 1 notch but the outfielders still seem to get to everything that isn’t in the middle of the gap. Fly balls between the IF & OF always seem to be caught. Even bloopers hardly land.

I just want a realistic setting for more varied hits.

I don't know how the game plays this year, but in recent years they seem to have improved on this. Back when I'd always lower these so much, like down to 1 or 2. Let's just say you might not be wrong for attempting to lower it, that's all.

If you want more varied hits, I recommend you crank up the wind slider to full. Each game may have its own unique personality that way. I miss the way they used to treat the wind slider for the versatility aspects (I'll explain it later if you want), but I always put it at 10 when playing these games.

Fielder speed and reaction both at 2. OF arm strength 7, IF arm strength at 0. And baserunner speed at 1 so they aren't trying to turn singles into doubles etc and get thrown out by a mile. Also lower foul frequency to 0 to see balls landing fair down, and hard hit balls ripped fair down the lines at times for even more hit variety.
