What's everyone's strategy for putting prospects on the 40 man and saving them from the rule 5? Like what's the lowest overall and potential for prospects you would add to the 40 in order to save them from being eligible for the rule 5 draft?

Honestly as I’m building my 40man in the off-season, I look at their player card and it’ll say whether or not they’re rule 5 draft eligible and if they aren’t, I’ll keep them off the 40man unless they have a true shot of breaking into the big leagues that year.

Yeah I ran a few sims the last 2 nights to get an idea of the types of players the cpu teams like to take in the rule 5. They seem to always take B potential players. I've seen them go as low as 67 for the overall.Comment
