Sometimes a baseball player signs a big contract and then his performance drops off. That's what I believe has happened to the developers of this game. They added xbox and are now flush with money but problems with the mode I play - manage mode - still haven't been fixed.

That's a very unfair statement in my opinion, especially when you have no knowledge of the status of the issue you're referring to.

It could be they are still working on a solution to your issue and haven't been able to resolve it yet, or least in time for this patch.

It sucks to have issues like the one in MOM that is causing crashes or the day game only bug, or any other hampering ones enjoyment of the game. But I find it highly unfair, and unjustified, to assume that the devs simply took our money and ran with it, leaving us high and dry.

It’s worse than ever! Really not sure what changes they’ve made here as all the obvious crowd issues are still there. Cheering when their team hits into double plays etc. It’s awful.

The poor crowd along with the same old commentary and no SOTS really takes you out this game- shame.

Ya it really does.. and they dont really cheer when they should. A foul strike is louder than a hr or shot to the gap.. it’s really brutal

There are still a dozen instances per game of:

• road team (batting) random foul ball elicits enormous cheer (because it’s a strike I guess?)

• road team (fielding) executes a double-play, enormous cheer from home crowd both during and after the play (because the batter made contact I guess?)

• hits by home team not garnering any cheer

• outs (big or otherwise) by home team not garnering any cheer

No idea what that patch note about tweaking the crowd is about. I guess I can hear that they made some tweaks but nothing that fixed anything.

Bro its August... Obviously they cant fix it.

They can fix it by leaving the times as is and then adding in manual time selection, just like manual stadium selection

Right.....they don't need to change it on the schedule (if that runs the risk of breaking something....fine, I get it...can't be changed)

BUT.....adding in the ability to manually select time of day at the ballpark and weather selection screen would 100% do the trick and it's unbelievable to me that they haven't done that. That exact setting used to be in the game where you could manually set the start time and weather

Bugs me that they haven't at least addressed the matter and I hold this dev team in the highest regard, they've been so good for so many years that you don't expect this kind of issue from this game. It's so frustrating using the Red Sox and 99% of my home games are day time

Fire the guy who’s in charge of this. Are we not in any kind of meritocracy at all anymore? Surely there’s SOMEONE at SCEA who CARES ENOUGH to make sure the crowd reactions don’t SUCK. I don’t mean to be rude or harsh, but dynamic real-time crowd reactions have been technologically feasible for over two decades now. I’m done waiting. I see no reason why this is so hard to get right.

Hits & runs & extra bases for home team = good = cheer

Outs for home team = good = cheer

This is literally confusing for this game’s code.

Are we sure that crowd reactions aren’t just totally random ( maybe depending on settings and /or rosters) because I’m seeing appropriate reactions in my franchise. Not great reactions but crowd is definitely cheering for the home team.

Are we sure that crowd reactions aren’t just totally random ( maybe depending on settings and /or rosters) because I’m seeing appropriate reactions in my franchise. Not great reactions but crowd is definitely cheering for the home team.

Yeah the crowd is reacting appropriately in my games as well.

They seem muted at times but their reactions are correct in terms of home and away

In regards to the crowd, I went into the AUDIO settings and maxed out the volume. I think it helps "liven" up a crowd that is mute at times. Noticeable that they are cheering correctly (home/away reactions) and brings more atmosphere to the ballpark.

I would recommend this for others to try.

I did the same a while back. It definitely helps

Don’t think anyone has said they react incorrectly every play. The issue I have is when I hit into an out, the same cheer that would fire on a hit is firing. Multiple times per game. Other similar misfirings are commonplace for home and away all game long. Are you saying they’re not? “Turn up the volume” is your advice? Just admit you don’t actually pay much attention to this, it’s fine.

Oh and I love that “go complain somewhere else” attitude bubbling up on this. Like whatever dudes this forum is so dead and worthless lmao
